Michelle Dyer is a cultural and environmental anthropologist whose research focuses broadly on cultural mediation of human-environment relations. Her research areas include protected areas management, social and gender equity and indigenous rights. From 2018 to 2025 Michelle was the social science lead at the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority. In late 2025 she joined the Indigenous Partnership Program at AIMS.
