Kate Barclay has researched the sustainable development of tuna resources in the Pacific since the late 1990s. Since 2014 she has worked on social and economic monitoring frameworks for fisheries and marine conservation in Australia, the Pacific Islands and southeast Asia. Kate has produced Handbooks on gender equity, social inclusion, and human rights in coastal fisheries, aquaculture and tuna industries for Pacific Islands fisheries managers.
