Jem Thévenau (née Turner) is a PhD Candidate at the UWA’s School of Agriculture and Environment. Jem’s PhD focuses on understanding how different dimensions of wellbeing (e.g., health, safety, relationships, future security) impact fishing behaviours among small-scale fishers. Prior to commencing her PhD, Jem coordinated interdisciplinary research on fisheries sustainability at Minderoo Foundation.
