I am an applied marine social scientist, and my work seeks to improve livelihood sustainability and adaptation in small-scale fishing communities experiencing social and ecological change. I prioritise participatory, locally-led approaches to research, with a goal of supporting local agency in development processes. My current research program is centred in Asia-Pacific region.
