Members of the Australian Marine Social Science Network met overseas for an informal coffee catch up during the MARE People and the Sea Conference in Amsterdam from 23rd – 27th June.
Hosted by MarSocSci’s Carla Sbrocchi from University of Technology Sydney and Bethany Smith from James Cook University, the gathering took place amid the canal-side cafes near the vibrant University of Amsterdam campus. The event provided a great opportunity to meet fellow Australian-based conference attendees amidst a busy week of conference sessions.
